- Cruise port: Meeting point for cruise passengers is top of cruise port's cable car. The guide will be holding a sheet with the Lead Passenger's name.
- Athinios ferry port: Pickup at the arrivals terminal
- Santorini Airport (JTR): Pickup at the arrivals terminal
- Hotel pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Santorini
Tour Itinerary
*Please note: the above itinerary is provided as an example only. The sights and attractions provide an idea of things to do during your tour, and can be adjusted on the day to suit your personal interests. On Greek Ancient Sites such as Akrotiri, your local driver is not permitted to guide you inside as only official Greek Archaeologists are able to do so. During your tour, you may ask your local driver to drop you off at the Akrotiri site's entrance if you wish to explore it on your own.
- Firostefani: After picking you up at a place of your choice, we stop at Firostefani. We stroll through the village towards the famous point of the blue-domed churches where you have the opportunity to explore this traditional village on your own. You will also see and learn about the geological formation of the island. Plus, you will get to hear about the genesis and history of Santorini.
- Oia: The Best of Santorini Custom Tour covers the traditional village of Oia, famous for its traditional cave houses built in pumice stone, the Venetian castle and the breathtaking sunset. We stroll through the village to the famous view point of the blue domed churches and give you the opportunity to explore this traditional village on your own.
- Beaches: On our way to the south we stop at one of our famous black beaches and a nice view point. Don't lose the chance to take many beautiful pictures in this unique landscape.
- Profitis Ilias: Next, we take you to Profitis Ilias, which is the highest hill in Santorini. From its top - at about 1900 feet (567 m) - your sight can be lost in the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. There, you get to visit a Greek Orthodox chapel, listen to the sounds of Byzantine music and get a taste of their hand-made products.
- Akrotiri: Our next stop is Ancient site of Akrotiri also known as the Minoan Pompei, which was destroyed and covered by the ashes of an enormous volcanic eruption in 1600 BC. The ancient Minoan city buried by the volcanic eruption 3600 years ago was discovered in 1967 nearby the modern village Akrotiri, remarkably well-preserved.
- Local Winery: The last stop of our tour is the traditional winery. While sampling the award winning wines of Santorini and learning about the special art of winemaking.
