- Firostefani: After picking you up at a place of your choice, we stop at Firostefani. We stroll through the village towards the famous point of the blue-domed churches where you have the opportunity to explore this traditional village on your own. You will also see and learn about the geological formation of the island. Plus, you will get to hear about the genesis and history of Santorini.
- Oia: The proposed tour covers the island's major sights, such as the village of Oia, filled with whitewashed building's overlooking the island's caldera.
- Akrotiri Archaeological Site: Santorini is also home to its own ancient ruins: the site of Akrotiri, an ancient Minoan village that was buried by the island’s colossal volcanic eruption. Don't miss the chance to see the incredible, well-preserved remnants of the settlement for yourself. (optional visit)
- Red Beach: Afterwards, it’s on to the island’s appropriately named Red Beach. Named for their distinctively colored sand, and offer stunning views over the Aegean Sea.
- Black Beach: On way to the south, stop to explore the famous black beaches and its nice viewpoint. Take many beautiful pictures of this unique landscape.
- Profitis Ilias: Next, we take you to Profitis Ilias, which is the highest hill in Santorini. From its top - at about 1900 feet (567 m) - your sight can be lost in the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. There, you get to visit a Greek Orthodox chapel, listen to the sounds of Byzantine music and get a taste of their hand-made products.
- Akrotiri: Our next stop is Ancient site of Akrotiri also known as the Minoan Pompei, which was destroyed and covered by the ashes of an enormous volcanic eruption in 1600 BC. The ancient Minoan city buried by the volcanic eruption 3600 years ago was discovered in 1967 nearby the modern village Akrotiri, remarkably well-preserved.
- Local Winery: Lastly, wind your tour down with an indulgent stop at a local winery. Santorini has produced its own wine since ancient times, and sampling its varietals is the perfect way to get a taste of the island’s history.
