"Private Half-Day Sightseeing Tour of Santorini" (5-hour)
The purpose of ''Private Half-Day Sightseeing Tour of Santorini'' is to give you an overview of all the most spectacular and historical sites of the major part of the island.
At the time of your choosing, convene with your private guide at your Santorini accommodation or cruise ship port, and set out on a 5-hour discovery tour of the volcanic island. You’ll be taken to discover the island’s quintessential landmarks while drinking in the stunning views of the Aegean Sea.
Please note: the above itinerary is provided as an example only. The sights and attractions provide an idea of things to do during your tour, and can be adjusted on the day to suit your personal interests. On Greek Ancient Sites such as Akrotiri, your local driver is not permitted to guide you inside as only official Greek Archaeologists are able to do so. During your tour, you may ask your local driver to drop you off at the Akrotiri site's entrance if you wish to explore it on your own.

- Though bespoke additions are always welcome to the itinerary, your proposed tour includes all of the island’s major sights. Venture first to the village of Oia, one of Santorini’s most photographed locations and famous for its whitewashed buildings and views overlooking the caldera.
- Next, head to the ancient site of Akrotiri. Described as “the Minoan Pompeii,” the site features Bronze Age ruins that were buried by a massive volcanic eruption in 1600 BC.
- Next, enjoy some time along the seaside when you visit the island’s Red Beach, so named for its distinctive, volcanic hue. The nearby Black Beach also promises beautiful sightseeing.
- Before your tour ends, you can also enjoy a visit to the mountaintop Prophet Elias Monastery and to a traditional winery, where you can taste the island’s signature vintages. The five-hour private tour finishes when you are dropped off at your accommodation, cruise ship port, or any other preferred location.
